    Description of provided tools

The trip_id identifies a given trip. Every departure on a route is assigned a unique trip_id (e.g. the 10-N that leaves Papineau metro at 12:00 on Saturdays might have trip_id 123456789).

The Branch (or shape_id) defines a specific routing variant for a bus route. For example, there are two Branches for the 51-E:

The Garage from which a trip is operated is indicated by a 2-letter code. It is one of the following:

    Garage Code Garage Name
     AN Anjou
     AD Adapté
     FR Frontenac
     LE Legendre
     LS Lasalle
     MR Mont Royal
     SD Saint Denis
     SN Stinson
     SL Saint Laurent

    Search Schedules

This tool gives the schedule of your desired route at the stop of your choice. Included fields are departure time, trip_id, Branch, Garageand Accessibility information (Acc).

Clicking on the trip_id brings you to the 'Search Trips' page for the associated trip_id.

    Search Trips

The STM trip_id's are usually organized in order of departures. For example, if bus 22201 is running on trip_id 123456789, it is likely to do trip_id 123456790 next. This is most commonly true if the departure times make sense (your judgement call).

This tool displays a table indicating the trip_id, headsign (route and direction), start time, end time and accessibility information for 100 trip_id's surrounding your input trip_id. The previous 10 and next 90 values are displayed. Clicking on a trip_id directs you to the 'Search Trip Schedules' page for the associated trip_id.

The row displaying the input trip_id is highlighted in yellow. If there is no associated trip for 2 or more trip_id numbers, a black line is displayed.

    Search Trip Schedules

This tool shows the schedule given a valid trip_id. This displays the departure time, stop and stop code for all stops along the trip.
